About Scenes vs Scene Collecions

I know you could switch between different scene collections while you're not broadcasting but the question is could you switch between scene selections if, for example, you're switching from a natively 4x3 system to 16x9 system and need everything to automatically adjust accordingly? Or must you put a break in your broadcast in order to make the change?

I know you can't switch profiles mid broadcast but can you switch scene collections made broadcast?

How does that affect a multi-game broadcaster? Must you make each game a separate stream legally or something like that?

have you tried creating a profile with both aspect ratios included, I don't see why it wouldn't work. I don't know if
i'm reading the question right.

Not aspect ratios. All my programs now use 16x9, either 16x9 2D or 16x9 side by side half 3d.

The question I'm more concerned about is the difference between scenes and scene selections.

My question is about switching cameras mid broadcast.

I know you can switch scenes mid broadcast.

Is the idea that scenes are simultaneous shots being used at once. Being processed and combined,, and scene selections are a different family of such shots like if I switch from my normal game cam to my Exercise cam, and my Exercise cam uses different cameras than my normal setup.

If so use scene selections, would it file the original shots and let me see switch to the exercise cam mid broadcast, or do I have to stop the broadcast and start it up again?

That's the way I seem to understand it.

Then what are profiles? Bi notice you can't switch profiles mid broadcast.
