Alerts not triggering when live!!

Hi! So I'm relatively new to streaming but after a ton of research, following guides etc I'd like to think I've a pretty good grasp on how most basic stream aspects work. However the one thing that has been stumping me are my Alert issues, no matter what I've tried nor what has been suggested through guides or videos, my stream alerts are still not triggering when I'm live.

Attempted fixes:

1) All my alerts through the online OBS streamlabs dashboard are enabled.
2) Attempted to make several different alert sources which caused duplications when triggered through the testing. Soon deleted.
3) Selected all forms of alerts (follows, subs, bits etc) through one alert source which thankfully fixed the duplication issue.
4) Tested the widgets through both OBS software and online through the 'launch' tab which both worked fine. Yet still did not trigger when live.
5) Refreshed cache, unfortunately did not fix.

I'm really out of any other options which could fix this issue so any suggestions would be really appreciated!

Issues with alerts not working when live but working properly when tested manually like yours are issues with the alerts provider and not with OBS Studio.

If you're using streamlabs desktop as your streaming software, then ALL the issues you could be having are likely the responsibility of streamlabs.
