Question / Help Audio out of sync - can't find most common solution (device timestamps)

So I did some research and it seems like many people who have had my problem (game audio out of sync, mic audio fine) got a fix by turning on "device timestamps," which supposedly was in audio options. I can't seem to find it anywhere! I've looked all over settings, I looked in Windows 10 settings to double check, I don't know what the issue is. My last vod has horrible lag in my sounds, I haven't streamed since but I'm sure it's happening live as well. Does anyone know where I can find this setting or if there's a new fix that could work?

I've only used OBS occasionally, but I believe the setting you're looking for is found here: 1) Go to mixer under the main window 2) click the cogwheel next to the audio device for which you wish to change settings 3) click properties 4) Check " Use device timestamps".
In the screenshot below I've clicked the cogwheel and highlighted the properties menu option for Mic/Aux, perhaps you would need to do this for Desktop Audio? If you click "Advanced Audio Properties" it looks like you'd be able to define by how many milliseconds to offset the audio with positive or negative values. I'm experimenting with this myself and just looked it up this evening. So good luck to you! :-)
