Question / Help How to get separate channels from my focusrite sound card

Hi
I have a focusrite 2i2. I has two channels. In Ableton using the ASIO drivers I can record one channel to track 1, and the other to track two. If I had a card with more inputs, I'd be able to record those individually as tracks 1,2,3,4 etc. But when I add my focusrite capture device in OBS I only have 1 option, Focusrite USB. But I'm trying to figure out how to record a podcast with two mics and a couple of cameras. Each mic will have a different speaker so I'd like to be able to treat the audio differently after. Is this possible?

I'm not sure how to edit the above but I wanted to quickly add that I've managed to add my focusrite twice and pan hard left and right which does manage to give me two separated audio tracks, but as I'm trying to figure out how best to expand my system I'm wondering now I would be able to get up to 8 individual channels if I bought a sound card with 8 inputs?

Nice. But I have never used github and just tried to figure it out and it didn't work. I'm sorry this is probably an eye rolling to the back of your head question so please just ignore me if my question is too stupid.
How do I instal this? When I went to "clone or download," the only options I could see to download anything, I selected download zip. I didn't this, but there is no installer when I open the zip?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks either way!

@MatthewL I've downloaded the ASIO plugin for OBS, how do you split the two channels in OBS. I have the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2? I have a mic in channel 1 and my guitar through channel 2.
