Question / Help I desperately need some help

I COULD REALLY USE SOME HELP, SO THANK IN ADVANCE TO ANY AND ALL WHO TAKE THE TIME TO RESPOND.

I've been doing a nightly live chat that I stream using Skype and NDI in OBS that I stream to Mobcrush (that in turn sends it to Facebook and YouTube).

In the past I've had a few times where the stream would crash mid show and I'd reset it and keep moving.

Those crashes are happening more and more now.

My internet pipe is pretty large up (48-50 Mbps) and down (120-125Mbps)

after last nights crash I lowered my bitrate to 2200, "fast" CPU usage preset.

I also change the base and output resolution (along with the rescale output) to match in an effort to try and reduce CPU usage - 1280x720

i'm on a macbook pro 2016 and surely this can handle streaming 2 skype windows over my pipe? It seams to have been fine for a while...

Barry
(log file from latest crash attached. I can upload the next log file from the continuatin of the same stream after the crash...I had to restart everthing...if that helps. Again THANKS!)

It looks like you are using the default X.264 encoder, rather than the Apple ones? Why is that? The first thing I would do is check in settings-output to see if they are available. Then I would also make sure that my Canvas and my scaled resolution matched under settings-video (probably 1280x720) I would also verify that in my recording settings I was also using the Apple encoder.

Did using the apple encoder work? I read somewhere that someone else recommended not to use that. Please advise what worked. im using 264 and my audio works and then gets garbled until i restart the stream. lose LOTS of viewers each time. Ughh

You should be able to test using the Apple encoders. Just do a test stream. If you do use it, use it both for recording and streaming Otherwise you won’t gain much.
