New PC – Constant Frame Drops When Streaming & Terrible TwitchTest Results (Partner's PC is Fine)

Hey everyone,

I am completely frustrated and could really use some help. I recently built a new PC, and ever since I started trying to stream, I have been getting constant frame drops that make the stream unwatchable.

To figure out what was going on, I ran TwitchTest to check my connection to the Twitch servers. The results were absolutely terrible.

To make sure it was not an issue with my internet or service provider, I ran the same test on my partner's PC. Their setup is right next to mine, using the exact same network and a direct wired connection. Their TwitchTest results were perfectly fine.

This tells me the problem is definitely with my machine, but I have no idea what could be causing it.

I've turned off the firewall completely just to test it, and the result was the same.

Has anyone experienced something similar or have any advice on what I should check next?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Windows antivirus and firewall should not block any of the OBS network traffic. If it does, then you have it bad configured and need to reset it to default. Consult Windows help on how to do this.

The other of course, if you're using an antivirus/firewall other than the one provided by Microsoft, uninstall it.
Also, make sure the network cable is correctly connected and not broken. Change the port where it connects on the router/modem. Check if the router/modem isn't blocking you.

Some programs that tells you they improve the network connectivity actually do the opposite.

A log file from OBS with an attempt to stream is useful too.

Heres the log file from when I tried streaming last night.

I also don't have an antivirus installed, I built this PC about a month ago. Network cables seem to be connected properly. Changing the port on the router also had the same results :c

Please review and follow directions and recommendations on the analyzer, specially the one related to Killer NIC

Streamelements plugin breaks OBS. You have to completely uninstall it.

Update: I booted up in safemode+networking and ran twitchtest, and every server came back perfectly with 25000+ kbps. Does that mean it isnt an OBS thing specifically?

I appreciate your help! Also changed my audio to match OBS thanks to that analyzer.
It seems the culprit was the killer NIC suite. I uninstalled it and on reboot windows updated the driver on its own, and twitchtest results were like this:
