As the title says. It was working up until the 23rd last month, but then on the 30th I tried to play an old game called Which that crashed everything. Crashed OBS, my browser, and windows explorer. When I got OBS started up again it no longer recorded audio from my headset. I double checked that the audio was set to come from my headset (I could still hear everything so check) and that it was set as the default device in OBS (also check).
I found this other thread that had the same issue, but changing windows spatial audio did nothing. I did get it to briefly work again on the 6th. I had changed my audio to my speakers as the default device for Windows and OBS and it picked up my audio fine that way. Then when I swapped everything back to the headset to try to show the issue OBS could pick up the headset audio just fine again?
Unfortunately since restarting the computer, it's now a problem again, and I'm not sure why it started working again, and trying to recreate it hasn't fixed it.
Unplugging the headset, restarting, then plugging the headset back in hasn't worked
When it first presented as a problem restarting didn't work, and now that it's showed up again still hasn't helped sadly
Drivers are up to date
Restarting driver via services
Uninstalling and reinstalling drivers
So I kinda just have to throw my hands up and go "what do"? I don't know what I'm supposed to do to make it work like it used to. I do have an aux cord, so I guess I could just daisy chain it to my speakers (OBS > Speakers it can get the audio from > Cord > Headset) as a temporary work around? Kinda defeats the purpose for having them be wireless though...
