i am trying to do game recording with my commentary with my wired earphone with mic....but problem is both are recording on same track...now you will say its easy ...just in output setting select output mode to advance and in recording section check mark two tracks froms 6 tracks. and in advance audio properties...select track 1 for desktop audio and select track 2 for mic. but its not happening right with me...
let me explain....first mic sound is not recording in track 2 ..when i select track 2 for mic...and record ...its doesn't record any sound..just silence.so i need to record it to track 1 only then it record mic sound. ..and then i select desktop audio to track 2.
when i do this settings...it record both desktop audio and mic sound. Ok ...but when import this file in premier pro...its show me two audio track..good..only till now.....
now the problem is in these two tracks....desktop audio track is recorded separately..but mic sound track is recorded with both mic sound and desktop audio.so i am not able to record mic sound separately. i watched many youtube videos...where they said to follow first 3 lines of this post settings...but its not happening with me...
can any one help????

Please, try to specify devices by name in the properties of the capture sources in OBS. Do not use "Default" value. If you are using global audio sources then it can be configured in main menu File > Settings > Audio > Global Audio Devices group.

It's difficult to understand your specific issue. May be it's just you don't realize media players will play back only one track at the time. Either they play back track 1, or you switch in the media player to track 2, then it's playing back track 2. Media players will not mix audio tracks and play back both at the same time. To make use of multi track recording, you need to postprocess the 2 tracks, mix them in a 3rd party tool, then replace the 2 tracks with the mixed track.

as you told i did ..i am telling in detail....
desktop audio...options showing ..1 disabled. 2 default. 3. headphones (realtek(R) Audio) 4.speakers(realtek(R) audio).
Mic/Auxilary Audio ..options showing..1.disabled. 2 default 3. Microphone(realtek(R)audio) 4. MIcrophone array(intel smart sound technology(intel sst))

if i choose microphone(realtek(R)audio) as mic/auxilary audio...
desktop audio....default...bar is moving ..desktop audio is recorded in video with mic audio......in mic audio track desktop audio is there.
desktop audio ...headphone(realtek(R)audio)...bar is moving ..desktop audio is recorded with mic audio...in mic audio track desktop audio is there.
desktop audio...speakers(realtek(R) audio) ..bar is not moving of desktop audio.

if choose microphone array(intel smart sound technology(intel sst)) as mic/auxilary audio...
desktop audio...default...bar is moving...but in recording sound of desktop audio is not there means only mic audio no desktop audio.
desktop audio ..headphone(realtek(R) audio)...bar is moving...no desktop sound in recording.
desktop audio...speakers(realtek(R)audio)....bar is not moving.

doesnt take default as mic/auxilary audio..

yes in media player they play one audio track in one time...but in premier pro....video shows with both audio tracks...but my problem is premier pro....desktop audio track is recorded seperately...but mic audio track is recorded with mic audio and desktop audio both.
